Oh 2023, what a roller coaster ride it has been for us!
We were super excited when OATME officially launched back in July this year. Our venture began with a vision to create something both healthy and delicious, reflecting our passion for fitness and well-being. We chose freeze-dried fruits as our primary ingredient due to their health benefits, long shelf life, and versatility. These fruits are not only nutritious but also convenient for on-the-go consumption.
Let's take a moment to recap the milestones we've achieved over the past six months, all made possible with our customers/friends/business partners' invaluable support:

July: OATME made its debut at Urban Machina's pop-up event, marking a transformative experience where we discovered a local audience that embraced our products.

August: We revisited our packaging, unveiling our first prototype. If you were among our initial customers, you may recall our transparent packaging with a top sticker. It was heartening to hear from some customers later in the year who recognized and appreciated our packaging update.

September: Delving into the creation of custom packaging designed by Jenny herself, we faced the challenge of finding a local supplier while prioritizing our commitment to keeping everything Canadian.

October: The official launch of our custom packaging received numerous compliments from many of our customers who appreciated the look update!

November: We set up our first pop-up shop at Little Mountain Shop, offering us insight into the retail experience. Our first official giveaway took place, with three winners announced. Additionally, we navigated our first Black Friday sale, overcoming challenges to ensure product availability (yes we didn't mention it, but we were struggling with fulfilling the orders while having enough for our customers at the market happening during the same weekend).

December: We achieved our goal of planting 1,500 trees in Kenya, a milestone reached thanks to over 1,500 orders!
